Pencoed RFC was established in 1888 and has long had a proud tradition of producing some of the most prominent players to grace the rugby field. To date the club can boast eleven full Internationals, notably some of our graduates from our long line, include our first Cap from the club, Wayne Hall, our first British Lion Scott Gibbs, former Welsh Captain Gareth Thomas & current Welsh Internationals Gavin Henson and Gareth Cooper, not forgetting former internationals Nathan Thomas, Gareth Jones, Gareth Williams, Adrian Davies, James Bater, and Hugh Williams - Jones.
